Portable Scooter Rental
Our portable scooter rental fleet is a mix of lightweight Pride Mobility and Golden Technology 3 wheel and 4 wheel scooters. These portable scooters will easily disassemble into 4 pieces, 5 if you count the basket, where the heaviest piece is only 29-34lbs! These portable power scooters easily fit into most cars and suvs and are all allowed on airlines with their sealed lead acid batteries.
First the seat lifts off the scooter, followed by the batteries. After those are removed, loosen the tiller knob by the base of the scooter and lay down the tiller with the base. Tighten the knob back up so the tiller will lock into place. You may also push in and twist a lock to keep the tiller from swinging side to side. Be cautious, if the lock is not undone, the user will only drive straight.
Once the tiller is down with the base, lift from the seat pole and lever by the back wheels to lift and separate the base. Yours scooter is now fully disassembled!
